I had a baby in august 2012 and she ended up in the nicu at children's hospital in Nola and we didn't have anywhere to stay so someone told us abt the HHH and I called and asked if we could stay as long as the baby was in the nicu and John said that would be fine. We arrived... More

The house was great but we were charged an additional $1300 after we departed. I called the proprietor several times and he promised a final statement which he never sent. I wonder how many people have been overcharged without knowing it. I wonder if the owners know this.

My wife and I stayed at the Henry Howard House with four teenage girls for Mardi Gras 2013 and had a great time. Unbeatable location for Mardi Gras, nice new-looking rooms, lovely common areas, great breakfast.

This was our third consecutive Mardi Gras at the Henry Howard House Inn. The staff was great, and as always, laid back - capturing the mood of New Orleans. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks John

We stayed here in one of the outside rooms behind the house. The upholstered chair in our room was filthy, I didn't want to set anything on it at all. It was a little scary that the keys all open all the doors. This made me unwilling to leave anything of any value or my prescription drugs in my room.... More

I rented the "main house" at Henry Howard House so family would have a place to stay together while in New Orleans for my son's wedding. Henry Howard House is a lovely old building with true New Orleans character. It's in a great central location in the garden district. The property is an 18-room B&B. They offer an option to... More

We celebrated a friends 40th birthday here. 17 girls and room for us all. The Innkeepers were local and readily available if we needed anything. We expected a continental breakfast and were surprised to wake up to a fabulous full breakfast served in the dining room! The trolley was a block away to take us anywhere we wanted to go... More

My husband and I were looking for a vacation home in New Orleans to rent for the weekend We gave the owner, Mr. Gish our credit card information for him to take the $1,100 deposit. He told us that we were confirmed and that he would be emailing us our copy of the rental agreement. After several days of patiently... More

We were supposed to be in the area for the Mardi Gras Marathon with a large running group booked at Henry Howard House Inn. This inn was suggested because of its close proximity to running events. We were unable to come due to illness, so we canceled our reservation well within appropriate times. Then we got our charge statement only... More

My husband and I just returned yesterday from spending 5 nights in NOLA at the Henry Howard House. We were with a group that booked the whole house--all 17 bedrooms for 32 University of Kentucky fans--for the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament! This house was in a great location, convenient to catch the trolley/streetcar about 1 block away. The house is... More
