Stayed at one homestay for 2 nights, whised it could have been more. Positive points: most beautiful view in whole of Munduk. Clean bathroom. Good food (17.000-25.000 rph). Cheap room price (100.000 rph low season pre-booked). Very sweet, honorable, honest owner, Kadek. Gives you the real Balinese hospitality experience compared to most Bali hotels/guesthouses/homestays In tourtisty areas. You can go... More

We stayed at One Homestay in the top floor room in February 2013 for 3 days. The Good: The Million Dollar View (Unreal) The Breakfast (Homemade, local favorites) The Price (Cheapest we had in Bali) The Owner (Komang is a Legend. His hand drawn maps and knowledge of the area are golden) The Bad: Nothing. Some may think the room's... More

If you want to experience mountain village life in Bali, this is the place. Very good rates. We felt so welcome by Kadek and his family, including his brother and family and his father who would love to speak more English to have a chat. We were not looking for a 5 star hotel, but to experience the culture of... More

On February 2013, I spent 6 days at One Homestay. First of all, Munduk is a small village in the mountains with so many places of interest to visit. I have a nice room, cleaan, with hot water, a spectacular view on the mountains and at a very reasonable price. Breakfast is included, very good and different every morning. At... More

We stayed based on reviews and were not disappointed! The rooms are basic but all you need for $8aud per night. A great base for walks to rice terraces or nearby waterfalls, or to just admire the amazing view and watch the clouds come across. Breakfast is a traditional Balinese delight made by the owner's aunt and not to be missed!Don't... More

We've just finished a 4 month trip that we started in Munduk with Kadek and his family. One Homestay is probably the best budget option we came across. Don't expect so much from the rooms. If luxury accommodation is what you're after, then look elsewhere. But Kadek has come up with a winning philosophy - if you provide somewhere that... More

Nice homestay with great views. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He arranged for us his brother to be our guide for trekking for a great price. The room was very basic but that was expected. We stayed here for one night and enjoyed it. Munduk itself is small but when trekking, you get to see more off Bali... More

My husband and I stayed here in June 2012 and loved it. The room was very basic but adequate and the bathroom likewise. The linen was clean. The food was very traditional and really delicious. We did a trek through the surrounding countryside. This was very informative and picturesque- seeing vanilla, cloves, cocoa etc growing was interesting. I had an... More

This homestay was recommended to me by a traveller I'd met in Malaysia. He was so convincing that I had to go and see for myself. Kadek and his family exceed one's expectations. They made me feel like family and I would have stayed longer if I had the time. They cooked the most delicious balinese food for me (off... More
