The view is spectacular and the pool area is very nice. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom could be refreshed. Great balcony!! When we arrived the staff was not so friendly and immediately tried to sell us boattickets for the gili islands (we didnd t buy them because we found much cheaper tickets on the beach). The staff who served... More

We have stayed at Bayu Cottages lot of times because of the atmosphere, the friendy staff, the location, the good food and a fair price. The hotel is 5 minutes from the reef which are en a very good condition. We will be back, that's for sure

I stayed 4 nights with my 2 boys aged 6 and 8. Unfortunately we were plagued by extremely bad weather (rain storm, big waves which made snorkeling difficult, nothing dried.. and no fish to eat as the fishermen couldn't go out!). Pluses: -Lovely, helpful and friendly staff, always ready to help, and honest management (when I cancelled my last night,... More

I visited this place already 4 times since 2006 and will continue to come back here because I love it so much. THe hotel has only 6 rooms, so never crowded. The staff is so friendly and helpfull, the food is extremely good. No need to go to a restaurant because you can´t get it any better! The rooms are... More

Very relaxing place on the east coast of Bali, the village Lipah in the Amed area. This is a beautifull place far away from the hectic of the south of Bali. The chicken, Steve is called "betutu". Snorkling is just some meters away because you are about 100 meters away from the water, in the water within 50 meter you... More

Stayed 3 nights in Nov 2012 (2 Adults, 2 Children), and absolutely love the place. Both the staff and owners made us feel at home. The food served was excellent and very well priced. Forgotton the name of the dish, but try the chicken that requires 4 hours notice for the ladies to prepare, it is devine. The pool has... More

Thank you for your kind review. Our staff and we loved having you and your family as our guests. The special order meal you're referring to is called "Ayam Betutu". It's a slow cooked chicken, filled with local herbs and spices. It's served together with a special Balinese side-dish of vegetables, Balinese sambal and ofcourse rice. We do agree with... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights during our trip to Bali in October 2012. We booked a PADI Open Water course here. The owner is the person who is teaching the diving course. Her name is Restuning Sandini and she is a very pleasant and friendly person. The reason why we went for Bayu was because my... More

We booked a triple room for 2 nights from Switzerland. Mrs Sandini, the manager, is very efficient and thorough. You have to pay 50% of the room price upon reservation and the rest before arrival. This can be done via PayPal which was convenient for us as there are no hidden transfer fees. The resort also arranged transportation for us... More

This hotel has the best views available in Lipah, no doubt and the pool is fantastic. I would return if it would have a little fridge in the room and free wifi throughout the hotel. Also the extensive list of rules and regulations (no outside foods, no guests etc..) were a bit off-putting at first. The price of food and... More

Guests only need to bring their laptop, tablet or smart phone to get free and truly unlimited access to the Internet.
