Location is very nice...at a island village....just beside the backwater river...this is the main route of backwater cruise... so one can see different houseboats and other boats throughout the day...very calm place...behavior of the staffs are quite good....just 2 person available for service ... Crazy layout in that our door opened onto the only small dining table to be shared by three units. Food ok but not brilliant. Sheets dirty and power tripping off all the time not caused by supply. Staff very good and helpful. Overall miss out Alleppey as too many houseboats. Better get a day trip out of Kochi and see... More

In our opinion this is the way to experience the backwaters! When we arrived we were a bit disappointed since the "resort" was very small and seemed very desolate, however, it turned out to be great. It was quiet, the food was excellent and we had a great time walking along the canals and rice fields.
