My family has been using Park Lane since 2005 when we took our son to UNCG. Each stay has been wonderful & the staff are very pleasant. This is shown from the General Manager - Kevin Raper down the line. The Assistant General Manager - Brian Kidd, concierge - Dana & Courtney, maintenance - Carl, housekeeping - Julius & Harry,... I was a bit nervous about staying here after reading the negative reviews, but for the price it's fine. The hotel is obviously old (it has the old fashioned timer heat lamps in the bathroom for instance,) but they keep it clean. There are no amenities except for the pool, but if you want a safe decent room to stay... More

I have stayed at the Parklane many times over the years and have always found the staff helpful, the rooms clean and quiet, and the price reasonable. The breakfast is very good as is the location. More

Wish I could rank it higher as the people were lovely, but.... the hotel has seen its better days. On the plus side, the location is perfect, the room was clean and the staff attentive. Although the hallways smelled like mold, the smell was not in our room or in the breakfast area. Breakfast was very nice fresh fruit and... More

We thought we were staying at the four seasons due to the name but this was less than one season...this is a bad hotel, it smells!! From the dirty dinnerware and cot in the hallway on our first day to the old fitness center, this is not a good place to sty. The smell of chlorine from the pool greets... More

My sons team stayed at this hotel because of the vicinity to a tournament. The staff certainly did not go out of their way to welcome us. And when I called to request a late checkout, I was informed very abruptly that the checkout was at 11am and anything over that would be charged an extra night. This place wasvery... More

Moldy smell throughout hotel (water leakeage problems and dehumidifiers running in halls) and worse moldy smell in our first room there, and I was getting headache--staff said it was air freshner that would dissapate as AC recirculated. When I opened dresser drawer to put clothes in, my son and I gasped as we found source of smell--quart of milk that... More

I'm not sure where KAVRAV stayed, but I don't think he was at the same hotel I was. I found the place quite nice. The beds were comfortable, the towels thick and soft. No problem with the HVAC - kept the room quite comfortable and didn't keep from awake at all. The continental breakfast was good, nice selection. I plan... More
