If you are on a budget and want to visit Mikumi then this is the place to stay. Not much works but there is a bed and helpful staff and a restaurant! Situated right in the middle of town means that you can easily get here with public transport.

Genesis offers a fair price/performance ratio. The rooms are compareably clean and the mosquito nets are in order. I arrived in Mikumi without anything arranged, they offered affordable accomodation, good food, and arranged a tour for us to the national park. Really nice at an incredible low-cost
