Our room (kng size bed) was very small and the stand up shower was at most 3'x3'. You could not help bumping into walls. Never been in a shower so small. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Bridgewater advertises "European charm". Anyone who has stayed in Europe knows this probably translates as "smaller rooms". The rooms are on the small side, but the hotel staff could not be more accommodating. Also, it was very convenient to have the bus available to take us to other places in Fairbanks (especially the bird sanctuary and restaurant stops). Overall,...

Stayed 2 nights within last 2 weeks here. On arrival in Fairbanks and 2 weeks later when flying out of Fairbanks. The staff was super friendly. Rooms are small but for 2 people more than enough. Close to everything downtown. Well worth $125/ night.

The best thing about this place is how friendly and unassuming the staff . The rooms are so small I can barely turn around in the shower and the blanket is some sort of plastic. somehow the staff makes it all better. well, almost.

Things I loved about the Bridgewater was it's proxmity to the park, which would walk you right to the Morris Thompson Center. The staff ,as other reviewers have stated, was incredibly accommodating. Their pet policy was confusing. I had researched and couldn't tell whether it was pet friendly or not (conflicting reviews), but when we pulled in, we were told...

The price and location were perfect for our business trip to Fairbanks - for mobile food vending at a downtown Fairbanks festival. We found the front desk manager and staff very helpful in locating a nearby parking area for our truck and mobile unit. The hotel is easy walk to all the main downtown shopping and the festival we participated...

This hotel is centrally located, adjacent to a decent Italian restaurant. Close to the ice museum and the information/museum centre. They operate a bus that travels to various parts of the city and they also provided pick-up/delivery to the airport.
Staff were helpful. Only criticism, is the breakfast which is overpriced compared with what other hotels in the area offer...

Got into Fairbanks and wasn't sure where to stay. Checked around and found the prices at the Bridgewater to be better than the big chains. What a pleasant surprise it was staying here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendliest staff at the front desk we've ever encountered. The were very helpful with all our questions. We were originally...

Fourth time I've stayed at the Bridgewater, best of Fairbanks' summer options. Rooms are clean and comfortable, good location, helpful front desk staff.

I spent two nights here and although the hotel was fine, the staff made my stay spectacular! The Bridgewater is only open in the summer. The location downtown is very convenient. I was within five blocks of the post office, tourist shopping, downtown attractions, the Visitors Center and the local bus transit center. The Bridgewater is right across the street...
