The location is great since the hotel is located in the downtown historic district. It's an easy walk to River Street and the City Market. The room wasn't bad, but since we ended up in a handicap room, the bathroom layout posed some difficulties (height/depth of sink, height of toilet, and no tub). We didn't have much of a view... More

The staff at this hotel was excellent! I was traveling with my sister, my mom who was celebrating her 80th birthday, my eight year old daughter and eleven year old nephew. The staff went out of their way to help us have a great time in Savannah. Also the rooms were very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. More

I am so glad that we booked the Hampton Inn on Bay Street for our recent trip to Savannah, Ga. The hotel was nice, clean, roomy, updated and affordable. The entire staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The location is perfect...River Street to the North and City Market just to the south. I would definately stay at this hotel next... More

The dedicated, friendly staff make this Hampton Inn an excellent place to stay. The staff truly seem to enjoy working there and helping their guests. They smile, are polite and friendly. And they work hard to make their hotel a great place to stay. Hats off to both the staff and management! Rooms were clean and modern, in great condition.... More

On our way to Florida we decided on the spur of the moment to take a few days and stop in Savannah. We called the Hampton and they did have a vacancy. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is clean and bright. Our vehicle was valeted for two days. We walked all over town. The complimentary continental... More

Great hotel to stay in while travelling up and down the east coast. Good service and knowledgeable staff. The folks in Georgia are very nice and service oriented. Savannah has history, beauty along the river, good shops, and great restaurants. Very casual and laid back atmosphere, lots of tourists. More

This was my second stay at the Hampton Inn Savannah-Historic District and the return trip did not disappoint! It is so reassuring to a traveler to be able to go back to a hotel and have the same great experience time and time again. The location can't be beat, the rooms are so spacious, beds wonderfully comfortable (I love that... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The lobby was inviting with a roaring fire in the fire place. There were complimentary chocolate chip cookies set out the first night but they were all gone and not replaced the second night (sad). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no parking available on the street and we... More
