This hotel was right across from the Reading Terminal Market AND right across from a wine store so it was perfect even if you wanted to just have a relaxing night in the room after a day out and about in the city. Staff was courteous and needs for travelling with family of four were met adequately.

Stayed at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown while in town for a meeting. My second stay at this property revealed that it could use some updating. Peeling wall covering in bathrooms and dated lobby. Otherwise, the staff and meeting rooms were exemplary. Food was outstanding and sleeping room overall tastefully appointed. Bonus is location and accessibility to everything in Philly.
