Spacious and luxurious new rooms, customer friendly staff and the best location in Mammoth. We loved the new room decor and enjoyed all three restaurants on the property. Rafters is just plain cool and you can have a drink in the new lobby bar to die for on your arrival. They even have a piano in the lobby you can... More

I am delighted that enjoyed your stay at the NEW Sierra Nevada Resort! It sound like you were able to take advantage of our many fine restaurants and amenities during your visit to Mammoth. For your next visit I have a great tip for you. I just tried the Blackberry Multigrain pancakes at the Rafters last Sunday at brunch -... More

Stayed here in October 2012 they were doing refurbishments to the rooms when we stayed so we were put in a lodge which was lovely, large lounge with fully equipped kitchen area and a log fire which they lit for you if you wanted them too, large bedroom with very comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was included... More

We used to ski at Mammoth Mountain 20 years ago, but stopped because the hotels and restaurants were so poor compared to Vail and Lake Tahoe. We had the opportunity to celebrate a friend's BD over the summer in Mammoth and we stayed at the Sierra Nevada Resort. They were starting renovations which caught my eye and they had just... More

The entrance room is great for gatherings. in the center is a sitting area with couches and a bar for drinks if arranged for apre' ski parties, the left room has a sunken room with fireplace in the center and built -in couch all the way around. The room to the right... More

Good location for the town but you need to use your own vehicle or the shuttle service to acces the slopes. We styed in a one-bedroomed chalet - very clean and comfortable we were a little concerned about noise as there was a connecting door to another chalet from ours, however we only heard them twice. Daily cleaning service, constant... More

What a joy to find this wonderful treasure in the Mammoth Mountains. The Sierra Nevada Resort has long been a favorite get away of the Hollywood elite. It has now been beautifully renovated by new ownership and deserves 5 stars in my opinion. The main lodge lobby is so lovely you’ll want to gather there around the open fireplace with... More

My wife and I stayed at Sierra Nevada Lodge for three days in one of their King Fireplace Suits. It was good value for the money. The room was clean and newly remodeled. The service at the front desk was excellent. We had a challenge with the fireplace not working correctly and they moved us with no hassles. I would... More

Thank you for your review of The Sierra Nevada Resort. I appreciate your feedback on your stay and we hope to see you again in the near future. New features that don't work are inconvenient and annoying; I especially appreciate your flexibility to move to another room where everything did not work as expected. I look forward to meeting you... More

I recently stayed at SNL and abosolutely loved it!! I went on a girls trip during the week for a few days and honestly didn't feel like leaving the hotel inspite the amazing skiing!! We have been staying at the Sierra Nevada Lodge the past few years under the new ownership. Each time we stay it gets better and better. The newly remodeled rooms are as nice as any 5 star hotel we have stayed at. We enjoyed the fireplace, soaking tub and heated floors in the bathroom. We love to dine at Rafters... More

I stayed at the Sierra Nevada Lodge March 26-29 on a spontaneous Mammoth Ski trip. I could not have been happier. My lady friend and I had such an amazing time. The room was fantastic! The newly refurbished rooms are filled with amenities that rival some of the luxury hotels I've stayed at, while still remaining like a cozy lodge.... More
