We went to the Pierpont Inn for Christmas dinner. It is under new management and the setting is just beautiful. The food was mostly cold and odd (for $75 per person) while the service was slow and terrible. They had canned Christmas music playing. We won't go back. More

If you like nostalgia this is a good place to stay. We love history so for us the Pierpont was a good choice as it had a clean, comfortable room, a yummy complimentary breakfast and lots of old stories. Rooms clean... Freeway noise... Couldn't run the air conditioner and tv together, it kept kicking a breaker, had to call front desk each time and felt as if we were imposing on them.. Too bad, this place was probably once a beauty... Next time, will try somewhere else... More
