As I'm on my phone, this will be fast. The AC hotel desparately needs $$$$ in renovations. We stayed 2 nights using a Groupon and were shocked at our "superior" room. Read several reviews and considered canceling. Decided to give it a try...since Groupon was purchased. Took subway from Amtrak/penn station...7/broadway/redline uptown...took 2 stops..and $2.50/ per person. Try it for those with a bit of adventure. You can’t beat the location. Easy walking distance to theaters and Times Square. Our room was small and Spartan, but clean. The hotel had the heat cranked up too high. We had to turn off the radiator to cool things down enough to sleep. Otherwise, no complaints. A perfectly functional room for a Broadway weekend. More

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value for money! You can't beat the location, the staff were lovely and very helpful.
