Had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express before catching a train to Montreal. The nice ladies at the front desk upgraded us! The room was clean and comfortable and the location was wonderful! Definitely recommend!

This property is on 29th street, between 7th and 8th. It is a short walk from Penn Station and I found 8th Street to be slightly less congested. Keep in mind that events at MSG can make the area very busy, especially if walking with bags.
The hotel is easy walking distance to Herald Square, Times Square, MSG, etc....

A very nice stay at the HI Express at Madison Square Garden. The hotel is within a five minute walk from NY Penn Station making it perfect if you are arriving from Newark Airport (30 minutes away by train). Very well situated for exploring Manhattan. Clean rooms, nice staff, can't recommend enough.
