I wasn't very happy with Tribeca Blu when I arrived - the corner it's located on is extemely busy and stressful with numerous people trying to sell cheap fake bags, watches etc. The two reception people were unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome. And then our room was absolutely tiny, and hot (they control the heat/air con centrally) with a... More

As business traveller, I frequent a few hotels in New York. During my last visit to New York, I stayed at The Tribeca Blu Hotel, which I found online. It seemed like a new hotel with fun features. I booked it for 1 night. When I arrived, I was greeted by a very unfriendly person in the reception. No eye... More

We booked the Tribeca Blu for our wedding party in NYC, and were astounded how they stepped up to the plate! I had contacted Loren, the concierge, prior to our arrival, just to give them a heads up that it was indeed, a wedding party, and that we had a couple of needs heading in. They were very accommodating to... More

Overall pleased with this hotel. Location is great place, room was clean, bed was comfortable. It may be the world's smallest hotel room and from our room on the second floor, the street noise was loud. Would go back but request a room on a higher floor.

Cost: We got 5 nights for $987 including taxes. This was good value for NYC, considering its excellent location. Location: Centre of Canal Street, literally on the corner of lower Broadway. The street is hectic with lots of people selling knock-off goods on your doorstep and low-end stores. However, if you like downtown NYC, as we do, you are a... More

Usually the front desk staff is very courteous at TriBeca Blu and seem like they care. Tonight it was very disappointing - i felt like i was not welcome and they were doing ME a favor to check me in. It wasn't all that bad, but you know when you get this feeling like "i am doing you a favor... More

The rooms are rather small, but that is okay, price is very good compared to other hotels! Very good location, metro station right in front of the hotel, brings you to wherever you want. Street is rather noisy (and you hear it in your room), but that was no problem for me. I was exhausted every day and slept very... More

Me and my sister recently travelled to New York and stayed at the Tribeca. The staff were incredible and gave us helpful advice about where to eat, their favourite bars and even the small details about what time is best to see/do things. The Staff made this hotel. It was neat and stylish and the location in regards to subways/food/things... More

We (myself and my gf both in our 20’s) stayed at the TriBeCa Blu for four nights at the beginning of April ’13. The first thing you’ll notice about this hotel is it’s location. Right on Canal and Broadway the hotel location has TriBeCa and China Town on your doorstep. Another benefit of the location is the abundance of subway... More

Ideal location in downtown. Very busy Canal street!!!! Subway is just next to the front door. Spring street is only a few blocks away. The adjoining rooms are very small but clean and in fact only to sleep in.
