Yes the lobby was being renovated and that wasn't mentioned anywhere. But you don't really use your time in the hotel lobby when you are in NYC. The staff was really nice and the rooms were clean and great! Breakfast was included, which was fantastic! Great location! I would definitely stay here again!

The lobby is tiny, renovation work was being done without proper planning for the many guest going throught that small area. The elevator system and size needs to be greatly increased. It took almost 10 minutes to get to the ground floor since no one could get on the elevator which stopped at every floor.

Lobby construction made for crowding to and from elevators. Hair dryer in our room burned out on first use. Fortunately we had two rooms.Front desk was quick to have it replaced.This is a very narrow hotel 6 rooms on floor and only two elevators available,extremely long wait to get downstairs in the morning, over 30 minutes.

Totally surprised by the hot breakfast which included Belgian waffles. A great experience over all. My husband and I were in NY taking in shows and having dinner with friends to celebrate our anniversary and wanted a nice clean space to crash in Manhattan.
