the gem is a great little hotel. very personal with wonderful helpful staff that will make your trip to manhattan memorable. the rooms are small but the hospitality is big. for anyone wanting a midtown destination i highly recomend.

I stayed at this hotel last summer for multiple weeks during a work project. The rooms are smallish but on average with NY hotels. I have to travel to Google's NYC office now and then, and it's only a 10 minute walk away. It's cozy, comfy, and clean. The service is always extremely polite and helpful. It's a tiny little boutique hotel, but it feels like my own personal corner of refuge.
