We stayed at the B&B. for four nights and did enjoy ourselves. The rooms are clean and quiet (make sure you are on the 3rd floor), and the breakfast is wonderful, however, it is only served at 8:30... A little late,if you want to be out and about at Capitol Reef or other great parts in the area. The hostess... More

When we tour southern Utah, we stay at the Torrey Schoolhouse B&B Inn. It is such a relaxing evening. The manager, Ty, has thought of everything to make your evening and morning enjoyable. The rooms are decorated so pretty, and breakfast is so good. Ty and her staff really treat you like family. I would highly recommend this inn.

Let me start by saying that the owner has done an excellent job of converting this old schoolhouse into an inn. Hardwood floors throughout and modern conveniences like an A/C unit in the room (although we had the heat on). The following may seem like small nits if you consider them individually - but with so many, our experience was... More

This place is quite an inspiring B&B in an awe-inspiring area of Utah, near the Capitol Reef N.P. A converted schoolhouse, the building is in great shape, lovely appointed, and a peaceful respite for travelers through the area. Yes, the single breakfast sitting "family style" may not be suited to every visitor. Personally, I think that 8:30AM is reasonable, and... More

The owner has created a beautiful space with great attention to detail. What a nice surprise in such an isolated small town. We spent the day at Capital Reef, another nice surprise! Utah is just filled with amazing splendor. We highly recommend this place.

We stayed in the Chinle room for two nights. This room is on the 3rd floor. If I were to do it again, I'd get a room on the second floor because carrying the luggage that extra flight was more exercise than I (actually my husband) wanted. Having said that, the room is big, bright and modern. There is a... More

This is an elegant, charming and totally comfortable B&B with spacious, well appointed rooms (we stayed in the Reading Room) light and airy with a very large and comfortable lounge area and nice outdoor garden spaces. Breakfast is only served at 8:30 but is very good. For Utah lodging and especially in the middle of nowhere near Capitol Reef park,... More

This is an excellent B&B which has been very sympathetically restored (ask to see the photos of the old building). Loads of history. The lounge / lobby area is cool, bright and airy with lots of books, antiques and curios. The garden is an oasis with fountains, a zen garden and places to sit. All the rooms are different. We... This is a wonderful B&B in an interesting small town...particularly for Utah. More diversity than most places....yes, you can purchase alcohol....and the schoolhouse is just off the main drag. Really comfortable place. Nice rooms and spacious communal area, One downside (& hence only 4 stars) is the breakfast accommodation. Not as warm and friendly as most B&Bs. Breakfast at 8:30... More

While we appreciated the restoration of the schoolhouse, the historic photographs and lovely location, we would agree that this place came up a bit short. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and on the bedding. We called the owner's cell phone in the evening to ask for breakfast earlier since we were the only guests and would have liked... More

Have shared this review with our cleaning staff, and they're ON it! (Grateful for the feedback, but much prefer in REAL time so can be addressed immediately, of course.) And I've NO idea why I didn't receive the voicemail message, but I do love to serve early if only one couple because that benefits me too! More
