Beautiful, elegant hotel by the water, park, shopping village and restaurants, trolley. Got a very good rate plus a cheat upgrade for a high floor room. Street metered parking till 6pm, free till 8am, several blocks away to avoid $27/day hotel parking. Aircraft carrier and Fish Market restaurant (best) a nice 10 minute walk along the water away. We have stayed at this hotel several times for special occasions, anniversary, birthdays, etc. The corner rooms in the older tower are the best. We had a wonderful room with a 180 degree view of San Diego Bay and the harbor.

This is the tallest building in San Diego so you can guess it's got great views all around. Close to the bay walk, so I was able to spend my evenings dining and walking along the water. The hotel is very nice and feels luxurious. The staff was very pleasant and there when you need them. Overall great experience.

I was here for a conference but we managed to get some fun stuff in too. I didn't bring any family but it would have been great for that.
