We chose this inn as it was in the historic district of Ashville. it did not disappoint at all. We chose the Powell suite, which was very roomy, and decorated in Victorian style. As we own a historic home back in the UK it reminded us of that a great deal. the bathroom was delightful, complete with a footed bath... More

My husband and I stayed at the Wright Inn for our 30th anniversary. The Inn is beautiful with period furniture and decorations. Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfasts were delicious. They also had snacks out during the day. Bob and Barbara were perfect hosts, and we met several interesting people who were also staying at the Inn.

My family and I stayed at The Wright Inn for 7 days. The entire stay was perfect. The owners, Barbara and Bob were wonderful hosts and extremely helpful with all kinds of information. Bob's directions to anywhere we were headed were spot on. The breakfasts were absolutely scrumptious. On one of the mornings we had to be out earlier than... More

I spent the weenkend of June 7-9 in Ashville at the Wright Inn. The setting relaxing and intimate. The room was clean and charming and I loved the clawfoot tub. The grounds are maticulously landscaped and I enjoyed an early morning reading on the lovely covered porch. I look forward to my next visit.

We had a lovely stay at the Wright Inn. It is a beautiful home that even draws the tourist trolleys! The breakfasts were abundant and delicious. The room was very clean and was very charming. We got to see most of the other rooms in the house and all were decorated beautifully. To me, the best part of our stay... More

We were disappointed by the quality of the bed in the Green Room. There was mold and a leak in the shower and the breakfast was about like a Hotel 6. Prepared in aluminum foil. You would expect first class for the rate and the appearance of the house.

We are at a complete loss as to how to address this inaccurate response. The above comments do NOT make any sense. 1.) This bed is one of the ones that guests constantly want to know the brand so they can purchase one for themselves. Four guests as well as ourselves have slept on this bed since Denette’s departure and... More

We had a wonderful weekend at the 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House. This is in a great location near downtown Asheville. The Inn and the rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast was excellent. The innkeeper was very friendly and most informative.

This place was awesome! My wife and I visit Asheville just about every year and this had to be one of the best trips ever b/c of this B&B. We love to eat and to be completely honest, of all the food we had over our trip the breakfast at the Inn was the best (and we had some great... More

We had a wonderful stay at the 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House. Bob and Barbara greeted us upon arrival and made us feel welcome. Bob helped us select restaurants and plan our time, including directions to each destination. Breakfast was great and very generous. We enjoyed meeting the other guests and found that we lingered at the table over... More

We just arrived back in Raleigh after our three days at the wonderful Wright Inn. We are a group of attorneys who wanted some place away from the Grove Park or other hotels. I made contact with Bob and everything was perfect from that point. Bob worked so well with my office manager, Michele to make sure everything was just... More
