Portal RV was in great location for all the activities we did...rafting, canyoneering, zip lining, and seeing/hiking Arches and Canyonlands. The staff were super helpful prior to the trip and during. We loved the pond after a day of hiking and the place was clean and quiet. The dogs also enjoyed their own pond to cool off in! Showers were... More

Very nice and quiet RV Park. It sits off the highway so you get minimal traffic noise. Landscaped nicely and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The RV park was not full - a hidden gem in Moab.

We have been staying at Portal for the last 5 years. The people are friendly and helpful. They know a lot about the area and the trails for Jeeps and biking. The park is always clean and kept up at all times. Any problem we ever have had as far as staying longer or coming early, the owners would bend... More

This was our first experience at an RV park. Our family was impressed with the cleanliness and how well staffed it was. There was concrete slabs at each lot with picnic table and a charcoal grill. There were little dog "parks" equipped with disposal bags and garbage bins. Our two boys enjoyed swimming in the pond while I relaxed on... More

Horable! Staff/Owner Operators we awful to deal with. Facilities were clean and appealing, but not complete! We have stayed at 3 other RV parks in Moab in the past and they all out rate Portal! Choose a different RV Park if possible.

This gentleman booked with us over the 2013 Jeep Safari week, which is one of the largest events that take place in Moab, Utah. The gentleman was scheduled to check out on March 26th. The Portal RV Resort and Campground was sold out with no sites available. The gentleman left for the day and did not check out at the... More

All in all a nice enough place. Site is clean and quiet after 10pm. Reception not very helpful as their pay phone was broken and they did not offer to make a local call from the office for us (which we would happily have paid for) they sent us into town to find another pay phone. The "pool" for non-members... More

We were traveling from South Africa, and we stayed in various RV parks over 3000 miles, this was definetly one of the best we stayed In. The sites were big, very clean, great setting, bathrooms are really clean, loved the pool. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. We ended up staying an extra night because it was... More

Stayed her for a week in July 2012 with 2 teens and fifth wheel. Stayed in spot right across from pool between 2 casistas. Can't remember the spot but it is the best! Has a nice pergola and 6 person picnic table. Nice concrete spots that are huge! Had a blast even with 110 degree temps every day! Office ladies... More

We are glad you had a great stay with us. The site # you referred to is M-22 and it is a fun site. I appoljize about the pool noise we do have a quit time at 10 pm and the pool closes at 10pm we will do a better job of making sure that happens. It always makes our... More

We never expected shade or trees in this area of the state, and although the temperatures were above 100 degrees during our 2-day stay of the campground, we appreciated the clean and organized facilities. The updates to the campground, which include pea rock and cement pads were a real plus. I was expecting dirt pads. We were a little disappointed... More
