We stayed in a Gecko Suite for three nights over the Christmas holiday. The suite was spacious, with a whirlpool tub, very comfortable bed, and TVs in both the bedroom and living room. The kitchenette included a sink, microwave, refrigerator, and ample cabinet space, but no plates and glassware except paper plates and plastic cups. Since there were only about... More

The one positive thing I can say about this hotel is that it is quiet, clean and decently decorated. Unfortunately the negative list is longer: At check-in were told that they will not serve breakfast and we received a $3 coupon per person for two Moab restaurants. That could buy us a coffee in the morning, but certainly not breakfast.... More

In September we vacationed in the Canyonlands of southern Utah. This hotel was very nice. Located near downtown within walking distance to nice restaurants. Excellant room with high ceilings and small patio/deck. Good breakfast. Within a few miles of Canyonlands NP and Arches NP More

There is nothing special about this hotel, and nothing to warrant the rates they charge. The room was nice enough, but very small and had nowhere to sit except for a tiny metal table and chairs. The woman at the front desk could not have been more unfriendly, unwelcoming or unhelpful. The breakfast which was supposed to be included, became... More

We stayed at the Gonzo prior to 4-wheeling and camping in Canyonlands. The hotel's location to shops and restaurants is great and convenient. Everything is in walking distance. The hotel is just off the main street which is an added bonus; you do not hear the traffic. The bed was very, very comfortable and after 2 nights of camping we... More

We stayed here two nights at the end of September. We had a decent second floor room, straight upstairs from the lobby. (No elevator) It faced west and, fortunately, came with fantastic light-blocking shades on the window and door to patio. The sun was brutal! The room could have had more lighting for the evenings. The shower was huge. The... More

The Gonzo Inn is a comfortable and cozy stopping place if you are planning to hike in Arches and Canyonlands. Huge showers and clean room with excellent beds. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast is on the house, but was a bit limited,so we went further afield (many places within walking distance). This isn't a cookie cutter... Our room at the Gonzo Inn was comfortable and it had an exceptionally soft bed & pillows which may or may not be a plus for you. (It was a plus for me after four days of camping!) I liked the small patio outside the room and the ability to keep the door open and enjoy the fresh air. Good... More

We stayed in the Gonzo Suite (2 bdrm.) with another couple last week. Loved having so much room, with shared living room, fireplace, dining room, patio (plus we each had our own small private balcony patios). The breakfast room is huge, with excellent food choices. The staff was great. The pool/spas areas are great, really clean, without that overpowering, hyper-chlorinated... More

Considering there are very few decent hotels in Moab, The Gonzo Inn is the obvious choice. It is funky and offbeat. There are industrial, traditional and eclectic design nods as well as a homey feel. We ended up having to get a suite (Gecko) because no other rooms were available and I felt that it was overpriced, but that is... More
