Conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco, Galleria Park gives you easy access to everything the Bay Area has to offer to its visitors. The hotel is located with easy access to the Bay Area's central transit systems of BART, MUNI, Ferry Terminal, and the fabled cable cars. Within blocks are Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District, Moscone Convention Center, and several world-class museums. The hotel is just steps away from world-class shopping destinations in Union Square--an area that is definitely a tribute to the power of shopping. Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Gucci, Gump's and Macy's are all right on the Union Square. Tiffany & Co. is within walking distance, as is the nine-story San Francisco Shopping Centre with Bloomingdale's. It is also a center for exclusive couture and high fashion, with boutiques dedicated to Betsey Johnson, Kate Spade, Herve Leger, Karen Miller, and Michael Kors. Post Street is also just a block away from Galleria Park.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location of the hotel was perfect for people that want to see the whole city. If you are a foodie and love the entertainment scene, this hotel is perfect for your stay in SF! Definitely check out Chinatown, which is minutes away from the hotel!

Fantastic hotel with great staff and location easy to get to from the airport and just a short walk from Montgomery station. Free wine and cocktails tasting at 5pm for one hour. Very comfortable beds , It’s within walking distance from nice restaurants and bars and easy to navigate to the tourists spots.

Loved this little hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful, cool decor, very clean. Room was small but I don’t need a large one and it had everything I needed including a nice little fridge. Loved the Illy espresso machine and pods in the room. Best part is daily sipping hour with wine in the cozy lobby next to the fireplace. Hope I can come back sometimes.

The Galleria Park was the perfect home base for a quick weekend getaway to The Bay. Damien, Max, and the rest of the team were all so welcoming and accommodating before, during, and after our stay. Okay—enough rhyming. The hotel is luxe without pretense in a way that few others in the area are. Perks included sipping hour (Max makes the best gin martini I’ve ever had), well appointed fitness center, and super comfy bathrobes. You cannot beat the location, as it’s situated a block away from several major transit hubs (40 minutes —> SFO, about the same to OAK). Will definitely be back!!

Oh my goodness I can’t say enough good things about this place. I just came home two days ago from a lovely trip with my boyfriend. He was there for work and I got to spend time traveling about the city. Peter Sciacca checked us in HOURS early and accommodated us so well (I asked for a higher level room and he gave us the top floor). Our room was cleaned daily with beds made, new towels and glasses and garbage taken out. They filled up our path water bottles daily as well. My boyfriend and I bring a fire stick to every hotel so we can watch HBO max, but this hotel has google chromecast so you don’t even need the fire stick! However, their WiFi wasn’t working so an employee came upstairs to INSTALL OUR FIRESTICK FOR US! So wonderful and considerate. I had bought a ramen noodle cup from downstairs in their lobby and they sent me a portable kettle to my room with bottled water and tea just in case I wanted it. They have an espresso machine that works in each room too. They gave us robes and umbrellas which came in handy for the weather we had while in San Francisco. They have refillable water stations located in the hotel. They also offered discounts at Jamba Juice which is a favorite of mine and free passes to the 24 hour fitness around the corner, even though they have their own fitness center. One of our favorite parts of this hotel was the sipping hour they hosted daily. They had two choices of wine and a gin martini that they served between 5 and 6pm everyday. They made our drinks and my boyfriend and I went to their rooftop terrace to drink. The views were beautiful and I bet they’re even nicer in the summer. Galleria Park is located right in town, however, they always had a concierge at the door to watch for any unwanted guests, which I can’t say many other hotels have (my boyfriend and I are from NJ/NYC and hotels aren’t nearly as protected). There also wasn’t a lot of noise that I could hear from my room even though it was loud when I was walking the street. On the day of check out, they held our stuff for us safely in the back until our flight came as well. Overall, my experience was phenomenal, so much so I wish I could give an even better than perfect rating.

We choose to stay at Galleria Park because we unexpectedly couldn't get home out of SFO. The team was amazing and the Guest Service Host, Thomas was a ROCK STAR! When we arrived our keys were ready and the team without asking already included toiletries because they knew we might not have our luggage. Before we went to our room we asked for a recommendation on dinner. Within 5 mins Thomas had booked us a reservation at a nearby restaurant that matched the best description of what we wanted for cuisine. He gave us quick directions and it was an amazing dining experience. The next day the team provided recommendations for how to enjoy the city while we awaited feedback on our travel plans out of SFO. Everywhere they sent us was Fun, Safe and a memorable experience. Thank you Thomas and Galleria Hotel for being so accommodating and awesome!. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this DOWNTOWN HOTEL. Galleria Park staff helped us turn frustrating air travel into a MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE!

By the end of my time here, I felt like I was saying goodbye to friends. Loved the sipping hour and room touches. A great place to have a work conference with multiple spaces to meet and have breakout groups. Such a kind and helpful staff.

Upon arrival, the hotel's ambiance promised a stay of unmatched comfort, and the staff did not disappoint. At the front desk, Thomas's warm reception set the tone, his professionalism ensuring our check-in was swift and pleasant. And when we needed assistance that evening, Max was there to handle it for us, quickly and done perfectly. Maria, our housekeeper, meticulously cared for our room and truly made the hotel feel like home. Her impeccable standards of cleanliness and her subtle personal touches brought a sense of calm and order to our temporary stay. The collective efforts of Thomas, Max, Maria, and the entire team transformed our visit into an experience we'll treasure. Our next visit to San Francisco will definitely include another stay at this fine hotel!

Noisy room, tiny bathroom without shower curtain or shower door. Isn’t what you expected from an executive room. Customer service was poorly handled when I contacted them about the noises. The only answer they gave was the next time book a cheaper room.

Max went above and beyond to assist us. The room our travel agent had booked us was too small. Max upgraded us at no extra charge. The property is also very conveniently located in the business area. Plenty of good coffee shops and high end fashion retailers in the area.
