This is one of the nicest Best Western hotels we have ever stayed in. Nice, clean rooms, excellent staff, perfect location, free "happy hour" even. We stayed at this hotel while my husband was taking a course at a nearby hotel. The lobby is very welcoming with a fireplace, comfortable sitting area and complimentary coffee in morning and wine in evening. First stop in a whirlwind tour of CA with our two kids (aged 5 and 8), the Tuscan Inn was clean and reasonably comfy. If you're adverse to tourism and tack don't stay at Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great with the wharf, tours and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The atmosphere at the wine tasting each night was warm and friendly and open to all guests. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay in a great area. More

Great location, clean room w/very comfy down blankets and a great shower.. literally just a few blocks from the wharf and our fav, fisherman's grotto :) quick valet and check in/out was a breeze.. If you don't plan on using your car for the trip, they'll honor a $35/night fee, which is about the lowest you'll find in the wharf... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and had no complaints. The hotel is in an excellent location for Fishermans Wharf and just a block away from the cable car stop. We booked this place on a super saver rate and I was a little skeptical of what I might get for that price but it turned out great. Stayed in the Tuscan Inn with our sons and loved the decor and size of our room. The Tuscan Inn is in an amazing location, just around the corner from the tram, 5 minutes to Fisherman's wharf and opposite a little shopping arcade where we found a nice little Chinese restaurant for lunch. “If only it was a real kimpton hotel...”

The hotel is now owned by kimpton. But the standards of the room, overall interior design and hotel restaurants... are way not meeting this standard yet. More Best Western (as it used to be).
