A clean hotel at a budget price a block or so from Union Square. Like every place I've stayed in San Francisco, there is street noise. As others have mentioned, the rooms are small (but are you coming to San Francisco to hang out in the room?). Expect to wait for the elevator at prime times. More

Just beside Union Square. The cable car stop is in front of the hotel. The rooms are small but cozy. Bathroom is simple but functional. We stayed here for 10 nights in mid December. Rooms were very small but clean. Location couldn't have been better...Union Square is about 30 seconds away....cable car stop the same! Staff were friendly and helpful (booking shuttle bus, information about restaurants etc.). We will definitely stay here again!! :o) More
