San Francisco is a fantastic place to visit with wonderful attractions. Set in the quiet of the Presidio (National Park) and 10 to 15 minutes from the attractions of the city or a walk to the Golden Gate Bridge this Inn was a great experience. There is no night life, and if you don't drive you won't get a cab... More

While on a book tour through San Francisco I stayed at The Presidio Inn. The staff was attentive in every way possible, the rooms clean and extremely comfortable and the atmosphere very, very conducive to R&R. Can't say enough about the Inn!

When I read about the Inn at the Presidio in a travel article, I knew that it would be the perfect place for my husband and me to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Not only were we were married in San Francisco, but my late father-in-law was stationed at the Presidio during WWII. I am pleased to report that the stay... More

It is the priciest hotel I have ever stayed in, but it was well worth it. Room was clean, comfy bed, and beautiful grounds. Loved sitting around the fire pit. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was mediocre. Location is great for taking advantage of all the Presidio has to offer. I loved being close to Baker Beach by free shuttle... More

My husband and I stayed here as part of our San Francisco elopement. We absolutely loved it. The setting is perfect. We spent a lot of time just walking the grounds (I suggest bringing walking gear to take advantage of all of the nature trails). The rooms were very stylish and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.

Not only is this property historically accurate and beautiful but also very quaint and calming. Get up in the morning and jog through the Presidio with incredible views of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. My wife and I love to spoil ourselves when it comes to accommodations and often stay at places like the Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Sutton... More

As crisp and clean as you'd expect an officer's quarters to be. Interesting, well-appointed rooms with historic touches. Helpful staff. Good breakfasts and wine hour. Stepping back in time without stepping out of modern comfort. A welcoming place. In and of itself, the Inn would be an excellent place to stay. The location make the Inn all the more attractive.... We stayed one night on our way to Napa. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive from the palace of fine arts. You can walk through the Marina neighborhood down to the Marina itself and out onto the beach. All within easy walking distance if you are even notoneof the ultra fit people who... More

We stayed at the Inn at the Presidio from April 15 to 19, two nights in a king room, two in a suite. This is why we loved it: 1. The Inn at the Presidio was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our SF vacation. 2. This is compared to renowned addresses such as the Grand Hyatt,... More

There is no better place you could stay in San Francisco. Seriously. What makes the Inn special? First of all, it's in an historic building in one of the few green, quiet settings in the City. Every last detail - photographs, artwork, even the lobby carpet - relates to San Francisco and Presidio history. It's the real deal, not a... More
