Our third stay at this hotel when visiting our daughter who studies at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Great accommodations, attentive staff, delicious breakfast, and a wonderful location that is just a short walk to the Conservatory and within steps of restaurants and shops in Hayes Valley.

We were very pleased to find this small and accommodating hotel. Agree with others who comment on location for symphony, ballet, etc. Continental breakfast is more than than, e.g., fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, croissants. And, yes, staff is friendly and helpful.

Very clean rooms and the free continental breakfast served every morning was an excellent variety of food. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Hotel is downtown and many attractions like Fisherman's Wharf and Chinatown and Alcatraz are accessible by cable car.

Great location. Super staff, very clean, charming and relaxing. The homemade cookies at 3:00 PM are superb-worth staying there even just for them. The furniture was fresh. Bed was the best ever encountered. Robes were furnished-you could buy them if you cared to.
