The hotel is tucked into Union Square. The upper level views are spectacular. Caring staff. Great base for walking. Parking is expensive so find another place to park and walk. Much more personable than the huge San Francisco Marriott.

This hotel is centrally located and right next to the trolly on Powell Street.
