This place IS THE PlACE to stay when visiting bar harbor. The staff are great, the rooms are spacious and spotless, the views are stunning, the food and entertainment top shelf, as well as the extras, pool, spa, steam room, fitness room.....seriously, i did not want to leave!! More

This was our second stay at the Bluenose Inn and as before, it was wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. We only stayed here for one night (unfortunately) during our road trip of New England. Our room was fantastic - clean, spacious, comfortable and welcoming with a great view of the bay. The hotel lobby was inviting with cookies and tea, the front desk was very accomodating. The room was immaculate, had a gorgeous view and was very clean. There wasn't one thing we didn't love about our stay. We will definitely be back here to stay again. The hotel went the extra mile to make our stay very nice. More

We stayed for three nights in a beautiful room with a fire place, two queen sized beds and a balcany overlooking the bay. It was prettier and more spacious in person as compared with the Internet pictures. The staff was wonderful. The only negative is the Looking Glass restaurant - overpriced and inconsistent service.
