The Quimby House Inn is a moderate sized inn located slightly away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbor. It is very easy to walk to attractions, shops and restaurants. There is also a shuttle bus that goes through much of Acadia National Park. The parking is good, and the rooms have comfortable amenities. More

We spent three nights here and were pleased with the downtown location, easy parking, and large room (#104) with nice sitting room connected by door. The motel smelled funny, but our room was okay after we opened the windows. The motel is in a good location. However, one of our pillow cases was dirty and the staff were unorganized. We had a delay checking out because we were overcharged & the desk person did not know how to properly calculate the bill. More

My husband and I stayed here while on our east coast honeymoon. The room that we stayed in was very cozy and clean. It is perfect location if you want to experience downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. My wife and I (senior citizins barely) stayed here for our second time but not our last. The room was very spacious and lovely. The proprieters were very friendly and helpfull during our visit.
