20 years ago we came here on the recommendation of our travel agent. We've come back at least once a year since. Su, the manager, is always helpful. The 2-story buildings (a selling point) are at the foot of the cove. There used to be a ramp into the water but because of environmental laws it had to be removed.... More

I absolutely LOVED this place. The snorkeling right in front of the condos was absolutely spectacular. There are tons of sea turtles living in this cove, many of them are HUGE. I loved drinking my coffee on the lanai watching the sea turtles begin their morning ritual of waking up and making their trek over near the shore of the... More

This review is a couple of years late, but Mrs. Fred & I brought the little Fredinas to Maui and spent our second week in the townhouse, Unit #120, for a fabulous week of relaxation. The 2 bedrooms were large and comfortable, and it was nice having the upstairs dedicated to the living/dining/kitchen area (along with a handy bathroom). The... More

We went a couple years ago for a family vacation, and couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The condos are a little old, but still comfortable and clean. I loved how friendly all the guests were with each other and the employees were so sweet. The snorkeling was perfect, we saw turtles swimming right past us multiple times and... More

We've stayed at this darling place on several occassions. The "COVE" is wonderful for spotting sea turtles, and the waves during the day are small....great for beginners. Most beautiful sunsets, friendliest people. The pool is beautiful, right off the ocean., chairs ...comfortable. Beds are great too. Grounds are manicured beautifully. Quiet and relaxing. Great location on Maui, close to all... More

This was our 5th or 6th trip to the Cove. We love it here, I don't think there is a "bad" condo on the site. Some are better (more modern) than others, but they are all good. The grounds are beautiful, but small. The one thing I wish is that they would make the Cove for adults only. There is... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Honokeana Cove. It is very intimate, and low key, which is excatly what we like to have when we vacation from our hectic schedule and lives. Yes. the property is older, but the grounds are well cared for, and the units are certainly well equipped. Ours had snorkeling gear, and beach chairs in one... More

We stayed at Honokeana Cove last year for our annual vacation, having been to Hawaii every year since November 1991. We "used to" stay next door at Napili Point, but after a very Rude encounter after we had booked with a private owner. We then found out the Hawaiian Hospitality of Napili Point. The Maid we had most every year... More

We just spent 15 days at Honokeana Cove. The property itself is about 40 years old and the buildings show it. In fact they are sinking (our unit has a 1" gap at the top of the lanai door caused by the building settling). But the location in Napili is excellent as far as sitting on a beautiful little cove... This was our second trip to the "Cove" as we stayed here in 2002. Now I must be honest, we've got a good friend who owns one of the units and we rent this from them, but it's not the reason I'll boast of the "Cove". What I truly like about the cove is the amazing snorkeling right out your... More

I was glad to read this review regarding our new Resident Manager, Greg. Our last manager, Dave was not quite in tune with public relations. Our property is definitely now kid friendly. In fact, my return summer guests this year said it was their best trip ever with Greg now on staff.Thank you for your great review. More
