The condo set is a great place for a family vacation. Great access to great, inexpensive restaurants (Bistro and Deli 808, Maui Tacos), very nearby shopping (Whaler's general store), and 5 minute walk from Kam II beach which is great for all kids and adults. Their pool areas are very clean and well-maintained and have huge gas barbeques for individual... More

Have stayed in buildings C and D before. D-613 has a great view and is away from any noise. The unit is well equipped as all units all but looks a little tired as if it has been rented too many times. Maybe a repaint and replacing carpets with tiles etc would help. Not much beach equipment (ripped chair seat)... More

My mom and I stayed in this suite for 12 beautiful days. We arrived to find the lights on so we could see where we were - there were exotic flowers in a vase with a card and a fruit basket to welcome us back to Maui. We have stayed in this suite before and will stay again as it... More

What more can you ask for: across the street from the finest beaches on Maui (Kam II), easy walking distance to unique and delicious restaurants (808 Bistro, Cafe O Lei), easy parking, reasonable rates! I have stayed in 2 different condos there and am about to stay in a third this November 2011. The first condo was in the C... More

Kihei Akahi met all of our needs. Our particular unit was C406 and we found it on VRBO. The owner lives in Maui and he takes great pride in his condo, which is evident the moment you walk in. It's clean and well stocked. The unit was a nice view from the lanai. We met the owner upon arrival and... More

If you want a clean, quiet, safe place in South Kihei, this is your spot. Kihei Akahi is across the street from Kam II, a close walk to Kam I & II, and walking distance to groceries and about any type of restaurant you'd like. Those who don't want to rent a car in Maui would do well here. All... More

We have stayed at Akahi four times now and we love C312. This unit seems to be newly renovated and furnished. The trees in the garden give some great shade and from the lanai, you can see both the ocean and Haleakela. We stayed in B205 before and really liked that one as well. We never used the air con,... We have stayed at Kihei Akahi twice and stayed in a different unit each time. The first time we stayed in a back unit facing Haleakala. It had a good view of the mountain and sunrise was besutiful. You could peek around the corner of the patio and see the ocean. The 2nd visit we stayed in the tallest building... More

We were in D416 - an end studio suite. Very quiet (except for the lovely birds in the early a.m.!). New'ish fridge and gas stove. Microwave and other small appliances. Dryer vent is damaged and needs repair (clothes will dry, they just take a while); couldn't find any evidence of a switch for bathroom fan; a/c worked well to keep... More

Just got back from Maui! Had a blast! We stayed in C 620 and it was a nice studio condo. The only complaint that I have is the air conditioning. One little ole window unit which couldn't keep up. Luckily they had a fan that we had to place by the bed or I wouldn't have made it. I love... More
