We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and friendly. The staff went out of their way to meet our needs. They do have a "resort fee", but you get free parking, free internet, free beach/swim towels, and free bike rental. They had Disney channel which was a plus for my 9 year old. The beds were... More

Great first experience in Maui! We went to attend a wedding that took place on Charley Young Beach across the street and a block down from this hotel. All of the staff at the front desk were awesome and genuine! I would like to make special mention of Rudy, Front Desk Supervisor. I called to the front desk asking if... More

The Maui Coast Hotel is a fantastic property. It is not an "over the top impersonable over-priced mega resort". I was, and continue to be treated as a very valued customer. Rooms are great. Beds are the most comfortable You will ever sleep in. Location is perfect! You are NOT stuck way down in Wailea or Makena, (and subject to... More

Why would a microwave be in the closet where clothes are supposed to be hung? Well, that's the the way it is here. In all, a clean room, with a small desk. Hate the resort fee that supposedly gives you bus rides, newspapers, internet access, parking etc. How about just including that and dropping the resort fee? I'd rank this... More

It was nice tor hear "welcome back" from Rudy desk supervisor although this was the first time we havn't received a room update. They Now have king beds, since their update, rather than the 2 queens that we prefer which are very firm with lots of pillows which are uncomfortably hard. There is entertainment by the pool from 6 to... More

Used tripadvisor reviews when we booked and weren't disappointed. Very friendly staff, nice rooms, pool was a nice private layout. Short walk to nice large beach, would definitely stay here again if we go back. Lots of eateries within ten minute walk. Parking spaces are very tight but that seems the same on the whole Island. I'm glad we followed the recommendation of a friend. The Maui Coast was a great deal. From top to bottom, they met all of my expectations. The restaraunt was great for late night dining and the pool was a nice reteat from the ocean that is right across the street. I received a nice upgrade when we checked in. Good... More

it was great! The price is a little high for my taste but you certainly get a lot. You do have to pay a daily resort fee but I didn't talk to a single person in Maui that didn't have to pay one their hotel, and it was usually more. Great location, helpful staff, great rooms! More
