I am sorry I need to temper somewhat the enthusiasm of the many raving reviews posted on TA. I really was expecting to love this place. But although everything the other reviews describe is true, I believe that they only show part of the story. So let's start with the good stuff. Yes, the house is beautiful, the rooms are... More

Windward Garden is a beautiful, quiet retreat on Maui's north coast. I always aim to stay at B&Bs when I travel, and this is one of the nicest I've seen. We stayed in the spacious Master Suite because the others were booked. Very comfortable & clean, with all the nice little extras (lotion, chocolates, bottled water, etc). The B&B is... More

We stayed 4 nights April 2013 as a family vacation, 2 adults 4 kids (17, 17, 15, 13). Rented the entire house so we made all of the meals on our own. Exceptional house and exceptional property. We love Maui and enjoy taking day trips to different parts of the island and this was a great location to get to... More

This is a small (not in room size though) quiet B&B with a perfect location for those who plan to drive The road to Hana. We stayed for two nights at this wonderful B&B. This is the kind of place you go to relax and unwind. The location is about one mile down a small gravel road at the beginning... More

We stayed at Windward Gardens for 3 nights. It is a very quiet place about 6-7 minutes off Hwy 360 at the start of the Road to Hana. Chris and Susan have created a quiet authentic place with culture and a sense of peace. It is something that large resorts cannot duplicate. From gazing north to the Pacific to admiring... More

The room is very neat, clean, nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. The bed is soft and the bacon is awesome. We love the garden (Susan is a very good gardener). You can ask for beach towels, baby boards, umbrellas, beach chairs from them. Susan and Chris are very very nice and helpful. We will never forget our stay at Windward... More

Susan and Chris have made their original 3 bedroom homestead available to guests, while they live in their new home on the same property. That means the whole home is available -- kitchen, living room, porches and beautiful gardens. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed. Breakfast was always generous and delicious. Our hosts were friendly, informative and very helpful.... More

While planning our stay in Maui my boyfriend and I stumbled upon the website for Windward Garden, we didn't know anyone who had actually experienced the place but decided to go for it anyway. We are SO glad that we did. It was the most beautiful relaxing vacation I have been on to date. The property is amazing the rooms... More

This was a beautiful, peaceful B&B on the north part of Maui. We stayed there for 3 nights to have easier access to the Road to Hana and Haleakala Crater. Susan was so nice and welcoming! She answered all of my questions about activities with genuine pleasure, and her recommendations were great. The best part was a tour of her... More

We stayed in and enjoyed the Master Suite. A good size room and bathroom. As the B&B is a little remote from major towns you will certainly need a car. Breakfast is good but a little on the light side.
