We also incorporate a beautiful camp ground for tenters. Inexpensive bike rentals are available. Arnott's also has its own tour division where lodge guests get substantial discounts on incredible adventures such as the summit of Mauna Kea and Volcanoes National Park. “Simple, Clean and Affordable”

Nice place to stay for a clean, comfortable room. Staying in Kona and making a couple trips to the Hilo side and decided to stay overnight rather than drive over twice. Saved us 4-5 hours of driving and was about the same price as the gas would have been. I'd be happy to stay here again, even for multiple nights.

I enjoy my stay in Arnott`s Lounge mainly because the volcano and Mauna Kea tours they provide. You would get tour discounts if you stay there for at least two nights. Great location - 10 minutes from the Airport. Great tours - I went on the Mauna Kea tour and it was excellent. They also recommended a tour for the lava hike and it was totally worth it. Stayed at Arnotts for 4 days in April '13 Great spot to stay, good for downtown Hilo and all the attractions around there. From waterfalls to lavatubes and farmers market. You feel as though you are miles from town and the beach is a 5 min walk - great way to wake up on the morning :-)
