In general, the room was fine but nothing special. However, we were kept up all night by the squeaking and rattling from the heater. The heat turned on frequently and woke us every time. It was loud! Others at breakfast complained of the same problem in their rooms too.

This motel hasn't been updated for a very long time. Everything needs replacing. I had a guaranteed reservation and upon check in my room was about 50 degrees and it took hours for it to heat up. This place tops most 3-star and some 4-star hotels when it comes to being clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The front desk folks are very helpful. There's also a fun bar/bowling alley across the street. I don't stay in Phillips very often, but when I do, this is the place.
