So I completely understand that if you want to be walking distance to town, Duck Brand and Rio Vista are the best hotel choices. They were booked so we luckily got into this place. As the other review says it is a bottom unit in a house where the top floor is a rented apartment. The people upstairs have kids... More

Saturday night is a hard time to find a place in the Valley in mid-September, and we were caught with no place to stay, coming into Winthrop over the Cascades. So I called Central Reservations in Winthrop, and they offered the River View Inn at $129 plus taxes. I was told it was contemporary and located right on the river.... More
