Hello luxury spa goers, it's been a while since I've posted any reviews. As a stunning historical building with all the old-world charm you can only find this side of England, you would think the melding of modern amenities would be hard to pull off without losing some of that classic feel. Well, think again - the Spa at Hotel... More

To think this grand hotel almost was demolished in the 1980s, is a terrible thought. The Davenport is simply a classy hotel of a bygone era...an era where Bing Crosby was discovered while sing on the radio station that once operated at this hotel...or the Crab Louis Salad that was invented here. Sitting in the wonderful lobby, enjoying a coffee,... More

I want to say this is the best hotel in Spokane Washington..Bar none. But when I checked in(and I use this facility about twice a year ..and have sent countless others to stay here) I was given the choice of accepting a room that wasn't acceptable or a downgrade to a smaller room..even when I offered to pay more! This... More

In early May of 2013 we stayed two nights. The first in the Tower and then moved to the old restored hotel building. The Tower was a disappointment. The lobby as loud and cold as modern Vegas. The room itself was barely big enough to contain the king sized bed. Only one uncomfortable desk chair and a TV placed strangely... More

Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent stay. You are correct in your observation that the experience at the Davenport Tower is different than the historical Davenport Hotel across the street. As we are a Green, Leeds Certified Property, we do our best to conserve and believe that the amenity dispensers assist in accomplishing that. Also, we offer... More

There were so many wonderful touches at The Davenport and some things that did not measure up to rave reviews. The service, the food, the ambiance of the main hotel were definitely very good. The tower extension of the hotel , not so much. We were originally booked into the main hotel, however, as is the case with some older... More

While traveling to see our son's hockey game, we happened upon the Davenport Hotel. What a gem, and surprisingly in Spokane. This historic hotel is nothing short of spectacular. We stayed in the older, original hotel rather than the newer tower, and I'm glad we did. Our room looked out onto the patio- and what a great view. The amenities... More

We took my mom here for brunch on Mother's Day. It is served in a ballroom on the second floor. The hotel, of course, is historic as described and beautiful. Great place with valet parking with validated parking tickets after brunch. Nice choice of many food items, chocolate fountain and desserts, sushi, carving station, and lots more. Nice china and... The Davenport is a classic grand hotel in Spokane Washington of all places. You would expect to see a place like this in New York or San Francisco, but Spokane? It was a marvelous place with friendly helpful staff, lots of eating choices, Starbuck in lobby, traditional Red Coat Bell Man at entrance, really cool. Room was big, comfortable and... More

Booked in for one night in business. I usually stay in a " major" but my meeting was in the middle of town and client had recommended the Davenport, and was glad they did. There is a long story about this property and when you stay you need to read it. The hotel has been restored to represent what staying... More
