Thanks for all of your positive comments! One of the best things about running a B&B is when you have people stay who really enjoy themselves, and you feel you have helped to create a special memory for them. Yes, Winchester is a good base to do a lot of things in the area, and it has a number of... More

Jeannie sincerely cares about making your stay comfortable. Unfortunately, Erik was away and we were not able to meet him. Don't hesitate staying at the Old Waterstreet Inn! It is a great location, delicious breakfasts, and very clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed in the Winesap room.............big, bright, and nicely decorated. Of course, flowers and chocolates are always a nice... More

We were traveling with another couple and wished to stay where we could walk to shopping, restaurants and to enjoy the town close up. This had to be the best pick in all of Winchester. There were a multitude of restaurants of all types. Our innkeeper graciously steered us to her favorites to choose from which we thoroughly enjoyed. The... More

We were looking for a good "never been to" place not too far from home for a long weekend. We settled on Winchester; a town we have passed by over the years, but never stopped. We scheduled two days thinking there might not be much to offer and planned another day elsewhere. We selected Old Waterstreet because of its proximity... More

Our trip to the US included a night in Winchester. We stayed at the Old Waterstreet Inn, in Mr Moore's Study. The house was beautiful, with tasteful decor and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. Mr Moore''s Study was a smallish room off the dining room but the bedding was wonderful and we had an excellent breakfast. The en suite was... More

Thank you so much for your compliments. You're right, Mr. Moore's Study is our smallest room, and serves well for a 1 or 2 night stay. But for more days, or for guests who have tons of luggage, it's best to choose on the other rooms, which are all spacious. More

This upscale, beatifully restored B&B just off the center of this well-kept and historic town is beautifully propotioned inside, with high ceilings, generously-sized bedrooms, two sitting romms and a pantry where you can make your own hot beverages, keep your wine cool and pick up complimentary snacks. My wife and I stayed here recently for one night to break up our trip home. The inn is located on a side street in old town Winchester. Our room was beautifully wood panelled with a private bath. The room had both natural light and good reading lights. In addition, there was a downstairs communal living room and a wonderful... More

A friend had recommended we go to Winchester for a little getaway. Not knowing much about the area I found the Old Waterstreet Inn on line and read the reviews. The b and b was absolutely stunning. Large, spacious, beautifully decorated, and charming. The location was perfect. Within walking distance of historic Winchester. Since we were the only guests, we... More

I was looking for a quiet place where I could catch up on my reading and get refreshed. This was the perfect place. I stayed two nights in the Cortland room, which was very charming, as was the entire house. I especially liked the porch outside my room, where I spent most of the day reading. The only downside was... More

Two thumbs up for this historic house full of character and souther charn. We stayed in the Cortland Room- the room is huge and has a private bathroom. The best part was the private porch off our room. It is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. The host is extremely hospitable and... More
