Localization is exactly at the historical center of Williamsburg. Friendly staff, spacious rooms with all necessary fac ilities, godious decoration, and a lot of smiles arud. The fact that it is located at the historic center of Wlliamsburg keeps it with merely two floors. So it is a big but not a monstruous hotel. Sure hit. You can't make a... More

We are just back from a 4 night stay at the Williamsburg Lodge. We were very happy from beginning to end. The front desk was very nice, and accommodated our request that my father's room be near ours. We had 2 rooms (each a double-queen) in the Nicolas wing. Both rooms were very clean, large, and had large bathrooms. The... More

I stayed here, accompanied by my wife, because of a nearby business meeting. Lots of pros and cons. I'll start with the pros: Room (we ultimately stayed in) was very clean and fairly comfortable. Staff was mostly very friendly and, as other reviewers note, it's a great location for walking to nearby Colonial Williamsburg. But that's about it for the... More

We traveled as a couple and stayed at this hotel during the end of May. The hotel rooms seem a bit dated and are overpriced. They are priced as a 4 or 5 star hotel but in reality they are more like a 3 star. The bathroom could have been cleaner as I don't appreciate seeing random stray hairs and... More

The staff went beyond just being helpful. When it rained we were driven to our various locations. We were always waited on by courteous and informed staff. The accommodations could not have been more comfortable. Rea & Sandra Hinson

This is a very well located hotel. Near the DeWitt Museum, shopping and the historic district. The rooms are well appointed in the early colonial style and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are two areas that were a little disappointing: 1. when I checked in and although I stated I was in a handicapped parking space I was... More

I've stayed several times and the service is always first class! I will never stay anywhere else in Williamsburg. Be sure to catch the breakfast buffet in the dining room. The live entertainment in the front bar was an unexpected pleasure.

This was my second time staying at the Lodge. The first time I stayed in one of the connected buildings and this time in the main Lodge in a suite. Both rooms were wonderful, clean and comfortable. Very nice but not over the top fancy. We traveled with my 2 children ages 5 and 8. It is a very short... More

Courteous staff, comfortable rooms, very good restaurant, bar, gym, spa, pools and golf course. Somewhat spread-out campus, so have to walk a little but all in all a very nice and relaxing place to stay. Most convenient location. Within walking distance to center of Colonial Williamsburg, College of William and Mary campus and other attractions. You can also get on... More
