me and my boyfriend stayed at the sandcastle hotel dec 24 and dec 25. the price was very reasonable and the staff, friendly and helpful..the room was clean and very functional. the breakfast had waffles and the usual fare and plentiful. overall, it was a very pleasent stay. we would stay again. As stated by others the renovations are interesting color choices (and laminate entertainment center, who picks laminate for heavy use). I realize that the black doors and trim are to make the dirt harder to see, which means not having to clean as thoroughly.
