Like most hotels this one does not allow smoking in the rooms. What they do allow is for you to go out on the fire escape to smoke (they even provide ashtrays) and then use your key to get back in. Problem, they don't list on the inside that you have to re-enter via the front door after 11:00 pm.... More

Stayed here for a weekend escaping Hurricane Irene. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the hotel despite being packed, was pretty quite.
