These apartments are now known as Marina Elite and may be a little past their heyday but they are clean, functional and conveniently located to the towns of Anfi, Patalavaca within walking distance and for a short, inexpensive taxi journey, Arguineguin and Puerto Rico too. It lies on what once was a beach but the pool more than makes up... More

Our booking was technically for the Marina part of the complex, however this part and other apts which i presume to be Balito beach are undergoing renovation. Whole blocks are being done which we found out when we asked to move upon arrival as the room we were given faced the road and had red construction tape stopping us from... More

We arrived at the apartments around 2am, everything was dark and we seemed to be in the middle of no-where with nothing to be seen. When we went to bed we couldnt sleep with the water (atlantic ocean waves) down below (despite been on the 7th floor) room 715. But we got used too after 2-3 days and it became... More

I stayed here with my family in february 2009. (It's not on the list.) As you can see, it's a very big complex. We had a quiet room with a beautiful view. Our room was near the pool area, it was always pretty crowded. On top of the mainbuilding, there is a spa for the guests, that was very nice.... More

This hotell is a cheap alternative to the nearby Anfi Del Mar. But at the same time we were enjoying the beach at Anfi, which after my personal opinion is the best at Gran Canaria. It was quite warm in our rooms, and no aircondition. And the rooms were OK. Not great, but you get what you pay for... But... More

Balito Beach doesn't have a beach. It consists of a main hotel block set on a rocky shoreline with an area of scrub land next to it (this is the beach - it resembles the sort of car park you get in towns when they have just demolished ghetto housing and decided to call it a car park until they... We paid £126 for a week’s stay for two adults, which I found to be amazing value. The apartment was very clean and the sea view was superb. We wanted to be close to Anfi so we could visit family so the location was excellent although it was only 3-4 euros for a taxi into Puerto Rico. We found the... More
