Exactly what we were looking for-quiet location, short flight, close to a beautiful village in Mijas and plenty of sun! The hotel is situated on the road between the main coastal highway & the little mountain village of Mijas although neither is reachable by foot but are only a short drive away. Hotel Hacienda was a lovely place to stay.. Very pretty, clean and in good condition. Food was of a good variety and the atmosphere was extremely relaxing; (just what we wanted). Staff were friendly and attentive and it was lovely to be able to speak a little spanish to them as they appreciated your effort. I will be going back.

The hotel, a handsome white building, is situated in its own well tended grounds. The Reception area is floored in marble, with exotic ceramic animals as incongruous decoration.
