Giuseppe and Carmen from Villa Artemide were very friendly and helpful. We were told before our trip that it was risky to leave luggage in the car unattended, so we were not sure what to do as we wanted to visit Villa Romana del Casale, but our B&B was 2 hours away! Giuseppe & Carmen helped us out and we were able to leave our bags at Villa Artemide while visiting the villa. This gave us peace of mind knowing our bags were safe. We had a nice rest stop at B&B Artemide afterwards and where Carmen prepared some fruit and drinks before continuing on our trip. Thank you Giuseppe and Carmen for your help. We would not have been able to visit the villa without you.

What a find! This Villa is set in the hillside very close to the ruins of Villa del Casale (mosaics). Set in the countryside, it is a serene spot to enjoy your visit to the ruins. The place is very clean & lovely. Federica, the young woman who runs the Villa, is absolutely wonderful. Charming & knowledgeable about the area. She prepared a wonderful breakfast which included homemade pastries and fruit health drink. The Villa also has a lovely terrace. After spending the day sightseeing, and before going out to dinner, it was the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Artemide: the warm welcome of Carolina, Ulysse and Gaia, the quiet of the place, the beauty of the countryside, the comfort of the place (etc...). We stayed there 2 nights and were able to relax and visit the lovely region of Enna.

We stayed only one night in the comfortable, adequately sized room with a small but quite functional bath. An excellent value. The host Giuseppe was welcoming and delightful, and breakfast was varied and delicious. One caution: it is hard to see the B&B's sign on the road toward Piazza Armerina, and much easier to see it when coming from the town. The B&B is a few minutes drive to the Villa Casale.

This eco B&B demands one's full compliment of superlatives. Carolina and Giuseppe are intellectual conversationalists. As hosts they go to incredible lengths. The breakfast is complete including home baked goodies. The complete kitchen is available for guests' use. I have saved the BEST for last: Giuseppe drove more 12 kilometers to lead us to wonderful restaurant (already reviewed). We were so pleased we have invited them to come visit us.

Villa Artemide is a lovely bed and breakfast located outside Piazza Armerina and withing walking distance to Villa Romana del Casale. Giuseppe is a perfect host and the place is on a serene hillside overlooking wooded hills around it. It is beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. I highly recommended it.

I was there in the off season, but I got the full hospitality treatment from Giuseppe. If the hotel had only its one-of-a-kind location near Villa Romana, that would make it stand out. But it is relaxing, very comfortable, and perhaps the finest breakfast for its price in all of Sicily. Because it is not in town, you have to drive for dinner, but again Giuseppe has wonderful recommendations.

Giuseppe and his 2 lovely dogs made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived at this beautiful place. Giuseppe offered a bottle of local wine for me to enjoy on the terrace looking over the valley. It was an easy 20 minute walk to the Villa Romana del Casale, which was welcome as I was tired of driving (after getting massively lost leaving Agrigento that morning). The location alone is worth 10 stars. The room was extremely comfortable with a beautiful view over the valley. Giuseppe brought me oranges he had just picked from his trees and then left me for a peaceful night's rest. In the morning, the breakfast was superb, with a wide assortment of fresh baked breads and pastries as well as ham and cheese. I enjoyed talking to Giuseppe, who was an excellent host. I would recommend the B&B Villa Artemide highly to all my friends and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights in order to get an early start at the Roman Villa before the tour buses started flowing in. This worked well as we walked to the site and had an hour's start on them. But the Villa Artemide would also be a good base for touring central Sicily. It is located in a very quiet, beautiful valley outside the town of Piazza Armerina, If driving, simply follow the signs to the Roman Villa. The owners are very helpful and keen to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay. They pay particular attention to their generous breakfasts and everything is prepared in Carolina's kitchen. Giuseppe is an open-hearted, spontaneous Sicilian who makes your stay memorable. The rooms are clean and well-appointed and the free wifi is mostly reliable. The only down-side to the location is the need to go into town to eat of an evening. Piazza Armerina is not an easy town to navigate, but there are several recommendable restaurants which Giuseppe identified for us. If given notice, you may be able to have an evening meal at the villa,

Giuseppe gave us a warm welcome and is very helpfull and made us feel at home. The B & B, our room and the sanitary is clean. You can sleep in peace. The breakfast is very nice, and the view from the room and terras is amazing. It is very close to Villa Romana. The 2 dogs are a nice bonus.
