The rooms are decent for how much you pay, but the real charm is talking to Jimmy the Man. He's a well educated Nicaraguan local guy whose English is great. He's starting up his own tour company, so don't hesitate to grab some beers with him!

Its a great atmosphere here in el Hospedaje La Libertad. There is ´mucha movida´ here. I spent one month there, it was really fun and cheap. I made a lot of friends and I got a great salsa lessons for free. The stuff is very helpfull and funny. You can drink at the bar (backpacker´s meeting place) and have for free spanish tapas... and girls too :) Definitly I recomend this place. Enjoy it !
