The room was very clean with microwave and fridge. A little hard to get too so you have to watch for the signs. Staff friendly and nice little breakfast. The new owners seem to be doing a good job fixing up the motel. The price was excellent compared to the other motels in the area.

This hotel, which has changed affiliation to Rodeway Inn, is in an awful location. We had chosen this hotel based on reviews we read online (not Tripadvisor, forgive us) that said the hotel was absolutely fine for a one night stop over in Emporia. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was a little smelly....like dog. Stained carpets and box springs. New mattresses and remodeled bathroom. Old tv with bad picture and buzzing noise. Stayed because I was too tired to keep driving.

Bad experience- first room the tub was clogged with cigarette ashes. The second room had a dirty towel on the toilet.
