I did not think the shower was safe to use. There were no hand grips and the floor was very slippery when wet. Metal bars need to be installed on the back wall and the floor treated with shower mats.

My family stays at this Microtel 2-3 times a year when we travel to Blacksburg to visit my husband's family. We have no complaints at all. We usually get the suite and we have never been disappointed. The room is always clean and we have not experienced the dirty bathrooms/carpets that others complain about. “Lot of value for the money”

This property is just a bit off the beaten track. It is clean and very well-priced. The rooms are small but adequate. There is a guest laundromat and a surprisingly decent breakfast.
