Stayed one night. At registration they apologized for the tax saying their prices had gone up. $42 for a tent campsite for a night off season Wow! Super pricey in my opinion for April. I was camping in West Virginia at a private business for $12.
They said I could only camp in certain sections. The bathrooms weren't all open...

This is the classic camping experience! Maddox Family Campground has been well visited by my family over the years. They have friendly service, great rates, plenty of campsites with shade, and a great view! Their gift shop is very nice too. I remember many a night sitting around the campfire, riding my bike around the campground, and watching the sunset...
