Where does one start.....old green carpet.vinyl stick on contact paper on fake beams. No furniture that matched. A hideous messy and cluttered kitchen with piles of "stuff" everywhere. This must be true VT country charm. However our host was nice. If the driveway entry lights had bulbs or were turned on it might be able to find entrance.

We are hoping to make our annual trip to Stowe and the Bears lair Inn Labor day W/E. The breakfast as stated in the other reviews is excellent, and the accommodations are large and comfy. Lots of propety to enjoy, the largest in Stowe, also very quiet, a must in Stowe.

I could not have been made more welcome by Carolyn and Bill, and our room was large, well appointed and comfortable (huge tub!).
