My husband and I stayed at this hotel during the foliage. It is surrounded by picturesque forest and mountains yet it’s still conveniently located. This is not a fancy place, but the room was clean with lot of storage space and a small kitchenette area. The layout of the room is a bit odd as there is a toilet type... More

This is not the ski lodge seen in the movie "White Christmas" but it was clean and inexpensive. They must get a lot of customers who sneak in extra overnighters, because they stopped and asked us several times how many people were staying in our room. The low points are the skimpy breakfast, the non-existent free coffee in the lobby,... More

Nice room. Good comfy beds. Kitchenette. Separate toilet/shower. All in good working order. Parking right in front of our room. This is a good place to stay! Comfort for a fair low price. Breakfast is to discuss. But you know what you get when you pay a economic price. One of the guestrooms is transformed into a small breakfast room... More

For an economy hotel, we enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and pleasant with fridge and microwave. Parking is an issue, so prepare for a walk from the upper parking lot if coming in later at night. Breakfast is a bit strange, but if you like Hostess Ding Dongs and watery coffee, you'll be fine. We just had breakfast out.... More

Room was very clean and roomy with lots of storage space. Small kitchenette was very clean and easy to use. It was chilly outside but the room was warm and cozy. Location was easy to find and a good place to stay if traveling all the areas around Killington Vermont. Small breakfast area, no lobby or other extras but for... More

Basic, cold, damp, wierd set up in the room. The bedding didnt get changed unless we asked them to do it. The breakfast is all cold stuff, really basic and all served on paper plates. Definitely not enough parking space for the number of rooms. Wouldnt stay here again ever. Lots of steps which is no good with luggage and... More

This was our first time to the Hillside Inn; we usually stay in Rutland, but the price was comparable to other 2-star hotels in town. We were very pleasantly surprised by the room, which was very clean, well-maintained and well designed. The mattresses were firm and comfortable. The comforter was warm but scratchy - one of the synthetic ones that... More

We just returned from a stay at the Hillside Inn. It's not the Ritz, by any means, but it is clean, recently renovated, and CHEAP. I chatted briefly with the owners when I checked out, and this is their first season owning the hotel, so look for improvements next year. The biggest problem right now is that people don't realize... More

I stayed here last weekend and would definitely come back, if only for the ridiculously cheap price. It's not the lap of luxury whatsoever - the bathroom sink had some weird water pressure going on and the bedspreads were some weird synthetic material, but the hotel was clean, convenient, and the temperature was just fine (I know this was a...
